Preparing to Go....

Well I finally created a blog for people to follow my journey to Nashville. My friend, Michelle Oeters was at the CMC this past semester and she had a blog (which I followed faithfully :-) so i thought it would be a good idea to have a blog. Now i am not sure how often I will have time to update it but, I mean it's always good to have right? :-)

So right now I'm sitting in class obviously thinking about Nashville and just really excited to go to the CMC. For those of you who don't know what the CMC is. It's the Contemporary Music Center located in Nashville, TN. I'm going there January 15th for the entire semester. I'm taking the artist track so i'll be paired with another student manager and I'll be working on producing music and performing! I honestly have no clue what to expect from this program but i'm extremely excited to see how God is going to use this opportunity in my life. God has been laying on my heart lately to just pray about making music part of my life from now on. I don't know whether He means just leading worship or actually signing on to a record label, or what He means but, I'm excited for Him to show me. I know I'm going to learn a lot from this program and I know it will be super hard to transition back to Cedarville after this program but, I HAVE to finish school......HAVE to :-) (just keep reminding me of this)

So yes....this is the start of my journey. I'm 45 days away from Nashville! yay!
